Job description

We are looking for an Electronic Markets support and production Engineer to support one of our key account market finance clients.

The client's support team is in charge of production architecture and technical support for Equity and Equity Derivatives market flow reception and order issue for the Equity department (Cash and Derivatives) core activity electronic trading platform which also hosts the trading algorithms. The team works in close collaboration with the development and Business Analysis teams as well as various other external software publishers. 

The main tasks involved are:

• Ensure the supervision and implementation of stock market operated migrations
• Ensure technical and functional support for all of the software components
• Ensure all architecture production
• Monitor and coordinate the development team releases
• Ensure the first level analysis of any incidents on these software components
• Guarantee the development of the support team tools for these tasks
• Implement and maintain monitoring processes and tools
• Implement and maintain reporting processes and tools
• Develop and maintain all platform component documentation

Desired profile

Education: BAC+5 (Engineering School or University).

The mission will require thorough knowledge of the following environments:

• Knowledge of Unix/Linus environments
• Scripting tools (Shell)
• Data-bases (Sybase and MySQL)
• JAVA JEE
• M Controller
• knowledge of European stock market technical environments
• Technical English
